KBUA Awards
Jerry Arndt Award
Presented to the member who exemplifies a willingness to officiate at any time, any place and who displays a zeal to further the stated purposes of the KBUA.
Silver Indicator Award
Presented to the member considered by his peers as being an umpire's umpire. The award is indicative of the member's dedication to the KBUA and fellow officials.
Rookie of the Year Award
Presented to the member who, during the first year of membership, demonstrates the qualities of desire, motivation and dedication toward becoming a top-notch umpire.
Keith Shartzer Professionalism Award
Presented to the member who demonstrates the quality of professionalism through their actions on and off the field.
Jim Dwyer Award
Presented to the member who displays those qualities exemplified by Jim Dwyer. The recipient shall have displayed a love of umpiring, a dedication to the KBUA, a willingness to assist fellow umpires and a commitment to the sport of baseball.
State Tournament Award
Presented to those members who represent the KBUA in the State Tournament.
Semi-State Tournament Award
Presented to those members who represent the KBUA in the Semi-State Tournament.
Regional Tournament Award
Presented to those members assigned to work a Regional Tournament for the first time. It shall be presented only once to a given member.
Marty McDermott Award
Presented to all umpires who score a perfect 100% on the NFHS Part II Rules Test
Assignor's Awards
Presented to whomever Tommy feels the need to award!
